The Gulf of Morbihan
When leaving the campsite, follow the hiking path GR34 for some wonderful walks alongside the Gulf and enjoy its wildlife and its sunsets. From Penboch to the tip of Arradon, enjoy the Gulf of Morbihan and its islands.
For sailing enthusiasts, the Gulf of Morbihan is an exceptional site for windsurfing, kayaking, and fishing. Beginners won’t be left out either with the nautical centre at the tip of Arradon.
You can walk from Larmor Baden to the island Berber at low tide and enjoy the magnificent view on the Gulf of Morbihan.
You can take a boat trip to enjoy the Gulf and have a stopover at Ile aux Moines , Ile d’Arz or at the tumulus on the island of Gavrinis .
At the mouth of the Gulf, on one side you have Port Navalo on the peninsula of Rhuys and Locmariaquer on the other side.
The Ile aux Moines, renamed “the pearl of the Gulf” because of its beautiful fisherman’s houses with their white walls and the high captain stone mansions.
