The islands at sea
Belle Ile with its grotte de l’hapoticairerie so-called because it was once full of cormorans’ nests, arranged like the jars on a pharmacist’s shelves, port cotton, Sauzon and Le Palais, as well as the islands of Groix, Houat and Hoedic smaller versions of Belle Ile.
Boat trips to those islands are available from Vannes .
